Follow the steps below to allow media streaming in Windows 7.

1. Open Control Panel.

    

2. Click on HomeGroup.

    

3. Under the Share media with devices, check the box to Stream my pictures, music, and videos to all devices on my home network and click on Save changes.

   

   
    
4. Under the Stream my pictures box, click on Choose media streaming options.... It's in here that you can see what devices have been allowed to stream media on the network.
