Many of you have started to utilize the new forum that launched, but some still have some questions about its purpose. For this it was time to bring in our technical expert, Nik Tran from online services, to explain what the forum means for our users! Check out what he had to say…

Western Digital: What is your definition of a PUG? (Professional User Group)
Nik Tran: A PUG is a select group of users who are passionate about a particular subject/product.

WD:: What can our PUG’s expect when they log on to our new forum?
NT: Users can expect an active community of WD users who are passionate and vocal about their WD products. The main focus for this forum was to create a place for the WD community to ask questions and receive advice from other users who are familiar with WD products. They can also expect that WD is aware of their opinions and posts and when necessary, will respond accordingly.

WD: What was the main purpose for this forum?
NT: The main purpose of the forum is to provide a community for WD customers to interact, help each other, and voice their opinions so that they can be heard.

WD: Ok, now for the fun question. What’s the best user name you have seen so far?
NT: DaWorstPlaya – the name speaks for itself :)

Thanks Nik for taking the time to give us the “low down” of the forum! Now if you haven’t already you can check it out here. Otherwise keep on helping out your fellow PUG’s and don’t forget to tweet us @WDTVLive! We love hearing from you.
